The Church

The Church can be found in the very center of Bangour Village, and is probably in better condition than any other building on the site.

What was it used for?

Following the end of WW1, the Village Church was commissioned as a memorial to those who served in the conflict. It has served many purposes over the years, acting as a place of worship for both patients and the surrounding community.

Where is it?

The Church is located in the very heart of the village just south of the Nurses Home, making it very hard to miss.

Is it being demolished?

Thankfully the church is not scheduled to be demolished, and the current plans seem to indicate that it may be reopened at some point in the near future.
